Dear Colleagues,

 

Thank you for considering the South Georgia Marching Band Championships. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025.

 

It's FINALLY happening! We are excited to announce that the event will take place in our brand-new school, featuring a state-of-the-art stadium with artificial turf, excellent lighting, plenty of restrooms, an in-stadium hospitality suite, and a ton of seating for everyone! 

 

This will be an official GMEA-sanctioned event using the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) caption sheets and scoring breakdown. Our judging panel boasts well-over 200 years of combined experience teaching band and 3 GMEA Music Educators of the Year! We are committed to assembling a fantastic panel of expert adjudicators who will assess each band fairly and accurately while providing your students with exceptional feedback.

The event will be headlined by exhibition performances from both Richmond Hill High School and the Georgia Southern University - Southern Pride Marching Band! It's going to be a GREAT day of band.
